Cubbing Hunting
(December to Opening Meet):
Palm Beach Hounds polo shirt or plain white shirt, buff, canary, rust, light gray or white britches, black or brown boots, black or summer weight hard hat.
Informal Hunting:
"Ratcatcher" (Wednesday meets after opening meet) All members, Junior Members and Guests: Tweed or Pinstripe coat, white shirt with tie, colored stock or choker, buff, canary, rust or light gray britches, black or brown boots trimmed tops optional, black hard cap.The wearing of the Hunt's colors is a privilege that is at the discretion of the Master and awarded to members of the Hunt who have proven themselves, not only in the hunt field, but also be devoting their efforts to the success of the Hunt by paneling, roading hounds, and/or working on other projects undertaken by the Hunt.
Formal Hunting:
Hunt Staff and Gentleman Members with Colors: Scarlet coat with hurricane blue collar and white piping and brass buttons engraved PBH, white stock shirt and stock tie, properly tied with horizontal plain gold stock pin, canary vest, white britches, black boots with tan tops, and black hard caps.
Lady Members with Colors:
Black or navy coat with hurricane blue collar, white piping and black buttons, white stock shirt and stock tie, properly tied with horizontal plain gold stock pin, canary vest, buff or canary britches, black boots with patent leather tops, black hard cap, and hair secured by a hairnet.
Whips should be hunting crops with thong and cord snap properly carried but never used by members of the field unless asked by Staff.
Members without Colors, Junior Members, and Guests:
Black or navy coat with black collar and plain back buttons, white stock shirt and stock tie, properly tied with horizontal plain gold stock pin, canary vest, buff or canary britches, black boots with plain tops, black hard cap, and ladies hair secured by a hairnet. Junior Members may wear "Ratcatcher" attire.
** Please remember to warn others if your horse has a tendency to kick, you should put a red ribbon in the horses tail, and horses that kick should remain in the back.
