A Message from the Master of the Hunt
Hello, Future Member!
Welcome to Palm Beach Hounds!
I started hunting because I enjoyed horses, I enjoyed riding, I enjoyed jumping, but I was getting tired of going around and around in circles. I needed to get out of the arena! I liked the idea of getting to ride and be with the horse in a natural, open environment. For me, hunting fulfilled that- representing the history of man and horse traversing open fields and forest.
I went on that first hunt and 1,000 hunts later, I haven't looked back! I met my wife hunting, I've raised my children in the hunt, and I have lasting friendships because of the hunt.
As Master, I want to provide for Palm Beach Hounds' members the same environment that I have enjoyed for so many years. I want to give back to our community the chance to be in the great outdoors; enjoy riding under different circumstances and in different territories; have camaraderie with other like-minded people with whom you share a common bond. There's nothing like being at the territory early in the morning, in all kinds of weather, seeing the dew on the ground, feeling the excitement of the hounds, and heading out to a new day. It's a life-affirming activity that I still enjoy as much as my first time out.
I hope you will join us and find the same rewards that I have found in this amazing sport. We welcome anyone from experienced huntsman, to someone like myself who was just wanting to get out of the arena and have fun!
The only requirement to join us is that you bring a hard hat and a smile!

During the active season, Palm Beach Hounds rides out twice a week: every Wednesday and Saturday morning, departing promptly at 8am.
Full membership includes an invitation to all cubbing, formal hunt dates, and all social events. We also offer modified memberships that extend invitations to specific hunts and/or organized social events. We encourage non-riding social memberships which allow you to be a member of our pack for all of our group activities.
A friend of the hunt is a friend for life.
